Tainted money

The Times of Malta reported that Electrogas posted €19 million in profits last year.

Just a short note about these €19 million.

Let’s not forget that as soon as Labour was elected, the Prime Minister’s Chief of Staff Keith Schembri and the Minister responsible for Energy, Konrad Mizzi, both rushed to open a secret company in Panama whose goal was to be the recipient of €150,000 a month (each) from another secret company owned by Yorgen Fenech, who was heading the controversial Electrogas project.

Slain journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia exposed the formation of the secret companies formed by Schembri and Mizzi that were to receive monies from Yorgen Fenech’s company. She also had damning information on Electrogas and was just about to reveal it when she was brutally assassinated. The mastermind who allegedly commissioned Daphne Caruana Galizia’s assassination was Yorgen Fenech.

That €19 million is tainted money.
